Warranty & Repair Policy

3-Year Warranty

Ghurka provides a three-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This includes stitching failure, hardware malfunction, and component separation. Approved repairs during the warranty period are completed at no charge.

For US customers, round-trip shipping is covered during the warranty period. International customers are responsible for shipping, duties, taxes, and customs fees.

Warranty Eligibility

For orders placed through ghurka.com, the warranty period begins on the delivery date and runs for three years. When a delivery date is unavailable, the purchase date is used.

For items without a verifiable delivery or purchase date, most Ghurka bags include a registration number stamped on the exterior that corresponds to the production year. In these cases, the warranty runs through the end of the third calendar year following production. For example, an item produced in 2025 is covered through 2028.

Many accessories, wallets, and other small items do not include a registration number. For these items, proof of purchase is required.

If none of the above can be verified, we will still review the request and offer repair options when possible.

Repair Process

During the warranty period, repairs may be completed by Ghurka or by a designated repair partner. Estimated turnaround is 4-6 weeks once the item is received. If a repair is not feasible, a replacement may be provided at our discretion. As items age, certain repairs may extend beyond our in-house capabilities. In those cases, we may refer customers to qualified third-party repair specialists, and service is arranged directly between the customer and the provider.

After the Warranty Period

Replacement hardware and components may be provided at our cost when available. For repairs requiring specialized service, we can connect you with a qualified third-party provider. Service, shipping, and any associated fees are the responsibility of the customer for out-of-warranty repairs.

Warranty Exclusions

Normal wear, aging, or cosmetic changes
Accidental damage, misuse, or excessive force
Water or moisture damage
Damage caused by airline baggage handling or other impacts
Improper storage, extreme temperatures, or chemical exposure
Unauthorized alterations or repairs

Leather and fabric will naturally soften, mark, and develop character over time. This is expected and is not considered a defect.
